Webtoon & Music Relationship

For those who do not know, it is worth reminding that some parts of webtoons are put into music by the webtoonist, and in some places the effects can be audible (especially in Horang's webtoons).

Now let's move on to how these music are music. Webtoonists can't put on every piece of music they want. Because the webtoon sector does not return as much money as the anime sector, they cannot use popular songs in their webtoons. So, how are songs covered in webtoons?

The answer to this question: amateur or semi-amateur bands and singers. The above reasons have led webtoonists to these groups and thus have benefited from the fame of especially high school and college rock and pop groups.

Webtoons are comics. And comics have no remote relevance to music in sight. Comics appeal only to the eye, and music only to the ear. But the addition of music to some webtoon sections allowed these two branches of art to be in relationship with each other. In this way, webtoons in Korea have created an opportunity for talented young people in music to show themselves.

One of the most well-known of these bands is Riddim, where some of us from webtoons such as orange marmalade and song of the cloud are no strangers.

Riddim, Stand by Dreams:

Riddim, Walking the other Way (Orange Marmalade Chapter 88):

Note: If you find the songs you hear on webtoons, you can be instrumental in listening to webtoon lovers like you by commenting on the YouTube link and the name of the song. I'll add these songs to the article.
